Positive Mind Change


The benefits of positive emotions provide an enhanced ability to build skills and develop resources for use in every aspect of life. An important part of cultivating positive thinking and building happiness is being aware of what you have and being thankful for that. Being thankful and appreciative of what we have, right now, at this very moment, seems to me to be the deepest type of joy one can experience.

I am constantly striving to see the positive in every aspect of my life. But it’s not always easy. My life—and all of our lives—is filled with challenges that make it very difficult to be positive sometimes. However, I know that choosing to be positive even when things are difficult really does make even the most challenging situations easier to bear.

Positive thinking is important, but we must also allow ourselves to feel discomfort at times because reality is a balance of positive and negative. When it becomes more difficult to suffer than to change, most of us will choose to change. If we don’t learn from our past experiences, we continue to recreate similar experiences until we get the message. Life is a funny and persistent teacher.

I firmly believe the practice of positive thinking and holding a positive attitude are strong enough to allow anyone to achieve success in anything they do.
